Only a week left

Only a week left for me in Florida, we are heading back to Ohio soon.  I’m ready to go, I  really  miss my family and friends!  I love it here! I love our home, I love the weather, even the HOT weather… but Ohio will always be home!

Happy Father’s Day

I miss spending the day with my Dad this Father’s Day.  We usually spend the day at his house and grill out.  But this year the miles separated us, so I have to settle with talking to him on the phone and know that we will see each other in about 10 days! 

I hope everyone got to enjoy Father’s Day with their Dad or a special man in their life.  I took Phil out to breakfast today and we just might go out to dinner too since I haven’t prepared anything yet, lol!

where does the time go?

I can’t believe how fast time goes by!  They always said time flies when you get old, but I didn’t believe them.  I mean, come on… there’s still 24 hours in a day so why should it go any faster????

I don’t know, how or why, but time does go by so much faster than when I was younger, I mean even just a few years ago.  When I was working outside the home, the weeks sure went a lot slower.  Then, it seemed only the weekends went by fast!

I challenge you!

I challenge you to do the DSO Book of Me Challenge this month!

This challenge is all about you!  If you are like me, it's hard to find photos of you because you are the one who is always taking the photos.  Well, hopefully this challenge will force you to let someone else take some photos of YOU! 

June's Book of Me Challenge is about the GOOD and the BAD

I know we all have a favorite photo of ourselves, the one we use over and over when someone wants to see a photo of us and we have plenty of photos we think are terrible. 

This month we will scrap both, you don't need a beautiful photos to scrap, life is not always beautiful and scrapping is about life, the good and the bad.

Rules:
1.  You must scrap 2 photos of YOU, one you think is good and one you think is bad.  No hiding behind the camera, they must be full face photos.

2.  Photos must be current (within the last year)

3.  Post your layouts in the Book of Me Gallery and post the link to your layout in the Forum in Book of Me Challenge thread.

Happy Friday

Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend?  I don’t, just the same stuff going on.  My friends in Ohio are getting together this weekend, I sure wish I could join them!  I love being in Florida but I do miss my family and friends!  I’ll be back in Ohio in a few weeks so we can party then!
